Whispering Forest Studio was born from a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of the natural world and the forms often overlooked, yet filled with texture, structure, and presence. Each drawing begins with a simple discovery during a walk, a weathered pinecone, a delicate mushroom, a fallen acorn, or a leaf. Back in the studio, these natural treasures are carefully photographed, studied, and translated into detailed monochromatic drawings that celebrate the remarkable beauty found in everyday nature. Created with patience and intention, every piece reflects a slower, more mindful way of seeing and invites that same sense of calm into the spaces where it is displayed.
Every artwork begins with observation. A natural object is gathered, photographed, and carefully studied before the first pencil touches paper. Working slowly and intentionally, each drawing develops layer by layer, preserving the texture, detail, and quiet character of the original subject.
Each print is made to order and thoughtfully produced on archival fine art paper. This allows every piece to be created with care while avoiding unnecessary over production.
Inspired by my father’s quiet generosity and his belief that no one, especially a child should go hungry, 10% of profits are donated to organizations working to reduce hunger and strengthen communities.
As the studio grows, so too does its commitment to caring for both people and the natural world.
